This often demonstrated by people wish to die doing something that makes them happy or to die in their sleep a pain free death.brbrThere is nothing after death save for the fears of the religious, so there is nothing to fear there.brbrThere is nothing to fear about the unknown. You and I didnt know tons of things yesterdays and we didnt fear them. Daily, we dont know how things will turn out and we dont fear them.brbrAside from the fact that death is inevitable at this point for each of us, it seems somewhat foolish to fear that which will happen anyway.brbrFear though is generally a belief that something bad will happen. Having a conscious poses a huge challenge in death for anyone who subscribes to beliefs about a soul.brbrIronically, those who fear death, or the afterlife often do very risky things which only bring them closer to that eventuality. We are an odd species.
